Martha Elnora (Jones) Beaty
(April 6, 1934 – March 6, 2022)
Martha Elnora (Jones) Beaty, 87, of Searcy, Arkansas went to be with her LORD on March 6, 2022. She was born on April 6, 1934, in Mode, Illinois to Guy Harlen Jones and Edna Shepherd Jones. 
On June 18, 1953, Elnora was wed to Rev. Bryan L. Beaty at the Washington United Methodist Church of Mode, Illinois where she had been an active member since childhood.
Through her lifetime, she was employed by several different companies as a secretary, bookkeeper, manager, and retail clerk. But her most passionate love was working beside her companion in ministry and raising her children.
At the age of 65, she moved to Searcy, Arkansas and began working as the church secretary and missionary president for the Searcy Church of the Nazarene where she served for over 20 years. She was loved by many who chose not to call her Mrs. Beaty but “Mom Beaty”, “Grandma Elnora” or “Grandma Beaty”.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters: Beatrice Willey, Evelyn Gordon, Reatha Mae Jones, and three brothers: Charles Jones, Aubrey Jones, and Stanley Jones.
She is survived by her children: Ken Beaty (Denise) of Moore, OK, Pastor Greg Beaty (Cheryl) of Gloster, MS, Pastor Ava Beaty Laidler (Mark) of Searcy, AR, and Pastor Randall Beaty (Diana) of Searcy, AR.
She is also survived by five grandchildren: Lauren Beaty Miest (Neal) of Moore, OK, Meghan Beaty Murray (Durwood) of Oklahoma City, OK, Brandon Beaty (Dora) of San Diego, CA, Pastor Allison Beaty of McCrory, AR, and Pastor Bryan Beaty (Marci) of Ozawkie, KS; and three great grandchildren: Olivia and Lucas Miest of Moore, OK, and Savannah Beaty of San Diago, CA.
Eight nieces: Joyce Downing, Carolyn Iannacone, Norma Wilson, Leona Cobleigh, Darlene Watts, Jackie Walker, Debra Turbert, and Doretta Gordan.
Four Nephews: Howard Rudd, Jerry Jones, Ronnie Jones, and Dean Gordon.
Numerous great nieces, nephews, a special church family, and a host of close friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 10th, from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:30 p.m. at the Searcy Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Randall Beaty will bring the funeral message.
Graveside service will be Saturday, March 12th, at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Carmel Cemetery near Shelbyville, IL.
Howe & Yockey Funeral Home of Shelbyville, Illinois will oversee the graveside service. Searcy McEuen Funeral Home will oversee the service in Searcy.
