Travis L. Wildman

Travis Lance Wildman, 52, of Paris, IL, formerly of Findlay, IL, passed away at 9:37 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2023 in Findlay Cemetery, Findlay, IL, with Rev. Mike Reynolds officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Clarence Bixler American Legion Post #409 of Findlay and the U.S. Marine Corps. Memorials may be given to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.
Travis was born on May 17, 1970 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Steven F. and Donna J. (Trimble) Wildman. He graduated from Findlay High School in the Class of 1989. Travis then served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Gulf War with Task Force Ripper. After returning from service, Travis earned his Associate’s Degree in Electrical Technology. He worked as a surgical technician at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield for many years, retiring in 2014. Travis was a life member of V.F.W. Post #4829 of Shelbyville, IL.
He is survived by his parents, Steven and Donna Wildman of Findlay, IL: brothers, Richard Wildman of Paris, IL and Rodney Wildman (Chelsea) of Shelbyville, IL; sister, Mendy Campbell (Steve) of Findlay, IL: and nieces, Jasmine and Natilee Wildman of Shelbyville, IL.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Everett and Signa Wildman; and maternal grandmother, Marguerite Mose.
