Angelia Marie Parks, 61, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 10:10 am Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2024, in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the Community Day Services at Shelby County Community Services.
Angelia was born on July 14, 1962, in Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX, the daughter of Daniel and Marla (Barr) Parks. She attended New Hope School in Waterloo, IL before moving to Shelbyville. Angelia has been a part of the Shelby County Community Services family since 1983. She was always happy and enjoyed being outside, going for walks and stopping to smell a few things along the way.
She is survived by two sisters, Theresa and Mary Anna; and her Shelby County Community Services family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents.
