Patricia A Danneberger

Patricia Ann “Pat” Danneberger, 86, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 6:18 a.m. Sunday, May 5, 2019 in Shelbyville Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Dan Seibert officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the Memorial Sunken Garden Project at Forest Park or the Food Pantry at the First United Methodist Church both in Shelbyville, IL.

Pat was born on February 26, 1933, in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Harry and Dorothy (Edmiston) Park. She attended Findlay High School and was the Valedictorian of the Class of 1951. Pat married Marion Junior Danneberger on May 26, 1951. She began working for State Farm in Bloomington, IL and later worked for the Oliver Corporation, Dillow’s Rexall Drug and Danneberger Oil all in Shelbyville, IL. Pat was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Garden Club both in Shelbyville, IL and was an election judge for Shelbyville Precinct 7. She enjoyed camping, boating, traveling, working in her flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Danneberger of Windsor, IL and Larry (Tracey) Danneberger of Shelbyville, IL; daughters, Kathy (Chuck) Compton of Shelbyville, IL and Linda (Brad) Halbrook of Shelbyville, IL; sister-in-law, Joyce Brewer of Shelbyville, IL; grandchildren, Brad (Connie) Compton, Brett (Kristina) Compton, Blake (Camille) Compton, Nick (Sarah) Danneberger, Hannah Danneberger, Brian (Jeri Ann) Danneberger, Craig (Shauna) Danneberger, Hailey (Zach) Boehm, Cole Danneberger, Ashli Crowe and Austin Halbrook; and great grandchildren, Luke and Kylie Compton, Aila, Mykael, Zoe, Rozelyn and Nathan Welke, Grady, Saige, Ace and Joel Danneberger, Tate and Jessa Danneberger, Leo Crowe, and Dax Boehm.

She was preceded by her husband, Marion Danneberger on January 14, 2018; son, David Mark Danneberger; grandson, Nathan Danneberger; and brother-in-law, Rex Brewer.
