Thomas H Smith II

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2017 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Pastor Mike Reynolds officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton, IL. Memorials may be given to his family in lieu of flowers.
Tom was born on November 30, 1945 in Clinton, IL, the son of Thomas Howard and Anna Lou (Wilson) Smith. He attended Clinton High School in Clinton, IL and graduated in 1963. He worked for Naber & Williams Farms near Shelbyville, IL. Tom previously worked for Caterpillar and Hydro-Gear. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 751 in Decatur, IL. Tom enjoyed mowing, woodworking, and spending time with his grandson, Hunter. Tom married Becky Milligan on July 9, 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Becky; children, Matthew R. Smith and wife Sharenda of Taylorville, IL, Andrew M. Smith of Tower Hill, IL, and Amber N. Smith of Moweaqua, IL; and grandson, Hunter M. Smith of Moweaqua, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
