Robert “Bob” was born January 14, 1922 in Shelby County, IL, the son of Warren and Cora (Morehead) Waggoner. He worked very hard as he grew up during the great depression. After school and weekends he worked in restaurants to put himself through High School.

Mary was born August 6, 1924 in Findlay, IL, the daughter of Tommy George and Zelma Fern (Baxter) Graven. Her father died when she was four months old, and her mother married Edgar Preston Bryson in 1934. Mary spent her early years in Findlay, IL.

Bob and Mary met on a blind date and seven months later, in the spring of 1940, they were married. The only time they were separated was during the two years he served in the Army during World War II. They had two children, Sharen and Ronald. Bob became a Sales Manager for Bear Hybrid Seed Corn Company in Decatur, IL, where he worked for 21 years. Mary was the heart of the home and kept everyone together. After the loss of their son, Ronald, they moved to Titusville, FL to be close to their daughter’s family. There they owned and operated Flairs in Silver and Gold, a wirecraft jewelry business.

They are survived by their daughter and son-in-law, Sharen and Jim Talbert of Mims, FL; granddaughters, Tricia Kuhblank (Doug) of Viera, FL and Tracy Broome (Michael) of Oviedo, FL; great grandchildren, Daniel and Elizabeth Kuhblank and Micah, Matthew, and Andrew Broome; and Mary’s sister, Maurine Stumpf of Rantoul, IL.

They were preceded in death by their parents; son, Ronald; and Bob’s 7 siblings.
