Linda Lou Cunningham, 80, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 3:54 p.m.
Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Pana Community Hospital, Pana, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with David Geer officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. There will be a meal at the Sit-N-Sip in Shelbyville, IL, following the burial. Memorials may be given to the Old River Chapter of ABATE in Shelbyville, IL.
Linda was born on February 27, 1942 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Clark Dale and Esther McGinley Knearem. She attended Shelbyville High School. Linda married Lance Hawk Cunningham on December 13, 1976, and he preceded her in death on January 23, 1984. Linda and Lance owned and operated Roley’s Tavern and Ace’s and Eight’s Tavern in downtown Shelbyville for many years. She enjoyed going to rummage sales, fishing, horseback riding and spending time with her family.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Kathy Lewis of Shelbyville, IL, and Kari Shoraga of Shelbyville, IL; five grandchildren, Tracy Schwenker (John), Lance Agney, Torina Brown, Kelsey Agney, and Keegan Betts; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lance; brothers, John, Don, and Walter Knearem; and sisters, Patricia Slattery, Jackie Helton and Sandi Anderson.
