Alice A Idleman

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Kevin Ray officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Shelbyville, IL.
Alice was born on March 29, 1930 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Orvel and Dorothy (Griffith) Bryson. She attended Shelbyville High School and was a member of the Class of 1948. Alice worked for Miles Laboratories in Naperville, IL until her retirement. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Shelbyville. She married Charles A. Idleman on February 25, 1950. He died on April 30, 2012.
She is survived by her son, Leon (Betty) Idleman of Plainfield, IL; daughter, Cindy Idleman of Crest Hill, IL; brother, Gary (Sue) Bryson of Harlan, IL; sisters, Helen Culp of Decatur, IL, Linda (Ron) Lewis of Bryan, OH and Betty Reese of Lynchburg, TN; sister-in-law, Frances Bryson of Cove City, NC; grandchildren, Kristy (Brad) Ross of Plainfield, IL, Janie Idleman of Belleview, FL, Charles Idleman of Summerfield, FL, Michelle Rodgers of Norris City, IL and Kim Huff of Belleview, FL; 17 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Idleman; sons, Charles Leroy Idleman and Warren Robert Idleman; and brothers, Robert and Stanley Bryson; and sister, Vesta West.
