Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013 in Glenwood Cemetery, (Section D) Shelbyville, IL with Gary Crowder officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the Shelby Humane Society.
Amelia was born on June 4, 1931 in Shelby County, IL, the daughter of Isaac M. and Bertha C. Dixon Reynolds. She worked in retail for Index, Ben Franklin, Shelby Bowl and Johnston’s IGA all in Shelbyville. She married Charles Harrell Williams on September 20, 1951. He died on November 12, 2008.
She is survived by her son, David Williams and wife Shelby of Decatur, IL; daughter, Sally Williams of Decatur, IL; sister, Irma Trimble and husband Delbert of Shelbyville, IL; grandchildren, Jeremy Smock and wife Jackie of Willow Hill, IL and Victoria Weybright and husband Matt of El Paso, TX; step-grandchildren, Jodi Long of Galesburg, IL and Julie Horath and husband Bryan of Decatur, IL; great grandchildren, Natasha and Joseph Smock both of Willow Hill, IL; step-great grandchildren, Kalie Bone and husband Ben, Jordan Horath, Brandon Steiner and Brittany Steiner; and special “grandchildren”, Sydney Blades and Andrew Hawkins both of Shelbyville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; sons, Joseph and Tracy Williams; and brothers, Lester and Dale Reynolds.
