A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. A private burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
Ann was born on June 10, 1928 in Richmond, VA, the daughter of Rex and Velma (Cavanaugh) Rucker. She graduated from Stephen Decatur High School the Class of 1946. Ann worked for Flint-Eaton Pharmacy Co. and Merry-Randolph Motor Supply both in Decatur, IL, and owned and operated Ken’s Lunker Shop, near Coon Creek Campground at Lake Shelbyville. She loved going to rummage sales.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Guy Harvey of Mattoon, IL; brother, Pat Rucker (Bernetta) of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Rachel Harvey Hatcher of Shelbyville, IL and Kenneth Harvey of Monticello, IL; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, George Harvey and Ken Norman; and sisters, Betsy Tilly and Peggy Vest.
