Anna Roberta (Wyatt) Sain Miller, 79, of Shelbyville, died at 4:40 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2008 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Jim Whittaker and Rev. Kent Melcher officiating. Visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to Fourth Street United Methodist Church, Jim’s Prison Ministry or Cunningham Children’s Home.

Roberta was born on January 7, 1929 in Clay County, Illinois, the daughter of Raliegh Clayburn and Clara Helen Salter Wyatt. She graduated from Lakeland College, Mattoon in 1974 and was a trained LPN. She worked for Shelby Memorial Hospital in Shelbyville until her retirement. She was a member of Fourth Street United Methodist Church in Shelbyville. She married Joseph “Milt” Sain on February 2, 1946. He died on August 12, 1996. She married Harold V. Miller on November 30, 2003. He died on February 22, 2008.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda Hampton and husband Richard of Effingham; sons, J. Michael Sain of Charleston and Patrick Shawn Sain and wife Jennifer of Windsor; step-sons, Daniel Miller and wife Cindy of Windsor, Randal Miller and wife Peggy of Lincoln and Kevin R. Miller and wife Nancy of Shelbyville; step-daughters, Julia Melcher and husband Kent of Topeka, KS and Marla Helton and husband Jim of Sullivan; sister, Savilla Mars and husband Jack of Lakewood; five grandchildren, Staci Eigsti, Robin West and husband Bill, Jamie Sain, Joel Sain and Jaz Sain and wife Kayla; four step-grandsons, Tyson, Trevor, Tyler and Tristan Warner; seven great grandchildren, Hailey Eigsti, Lindsey Eigsti, Whitney West, Lauren West, Juan Becerra, Isaiah Sean Perez and Levi Angel Perez; ten step-grandchildren; and six step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Milt; second husband, Harold; four brothers; three sisters; and one great grandchild.
