Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Lee Lovett officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
Bea was born on April 2, 1920 in Stewardson, Illinois, the daughter of Guy Harlin and Edna Celeste Shepard Jones. She worked for General Electric in Decatur for twenty years and also at Shelby Memorial Hospital until she retired. She was an avid bowler and golfer. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, VFW Auxiliary #4829 and a charter member of the Women of the Moose #1325 all of Shelbyville. She married Paul M. Willey on May 14, 1946. He died on May 13, 1984.
Surviving are her son, Howard T. Rudd of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Aubrey Jones and wife Chris of Stewardson; sisters, Evelyn Gordon and husband Richard of Beecher City and Elnora Beatty of Searcy, Arkansas; grandchildren, Randal and Samantha Rudd; and step-granddaughter, Tiffany Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; brothers, Charles and Stanley Jones; and sister, Retha May Jones.
