Betty F Pritts

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2016 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL, with Rev. Linda Trent officiating. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Betty was born on September 4, 1924 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Frank and Loral Hostetler Wheeler. During WW II, she worked in the Houdaille-Hershey Plant in Decatur, IL. Betty married Marion Oliver “MOP” Pritts on January 13, 1942. Betty attended the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, near Shelbyville, IL and was a member of Shelby County Home Extension.
She is survived by her son, Jim Pritts and wife Sandy of Shelbyville, IL; sister, Imogene Watson of Shelbyville, IL; grandson, Wally Ellison and wife Erin of Grapeview, WA; and two great grandchildren, Kyra and Joey Ellison of Grapeview, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marion on January 7, 2010; two brothers, Bill and Bud Wheeler; and five sisters, Leta Taylor, Doris Rotolo, Stella Bryson, Ina Gordon and Meg Brooks.
