Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2014 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Cremation will follow the visitation. Memorials may be given to the family.
Mr. Ford was born on April 5, 1943 in Springfield, OH, the son of James William and Louise A. Hinkle Ford, Sr. He served in the U. S. Navy. Bill was a retired truck driver. He married Patricia Ann Painter on July 26, 1975.
Surviving are his wife, Pat; sons, Joe (Laurie) Ford of Wilmington, IL and James W. Ford II of South Carolina; daughters, Holly (Tyson) Williams of Shelbyville, IL, Sherry Ford of Shelbyville, IL, Dawn (Tim) Haymond of Wonder Lake, IL and Donii Orvino of California; brothers, Melvin Ford of Helenville, WI and John Ford of Fond du Lac, WI ; sisters, Kathy Wisniewski of Johnson Creek, WI and Linda Pollard of Decatur, IL; grandchildren, Amanda Brasher, Sandra Williams, Josh, Jeremy and Justin Haymond, Debbie Drone, Joe Ford, Pam Cohan, Heather Ford and several more; and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Earl Ford; and great grandson, Devon Bradley Eaddie-Ford.
