Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Memorials may be given to his family. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.
Blaine was born on November 30, 1954 in Taylorville, IL, the son of Gerald Paul and Mary Belle Coventry Brown. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1972. Blaine was a machinist for International Paper in Shelbyville for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Blaine married Pamela Rae Stevens on June 15, 1975. She died on October 16, 2010.
He is survived by his son, Gerald L. Brown (Jessica Harris) of Shelbyville, IL; mother, Mary Belle Brown of West Plaines, MO; brothers, George Brown of Galesburg, IL, Tom Brown of West Plaines, MO, Michael Brown (Tammy) of Princeton, IN and Bruce Brown (Marylou) of Alton, MO.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Brown; daughter, Kristal Dawn Brown; father, Gerald Brown; brother, Gilbert Brown; and grandparents.
