Bobby R Longwell

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2012 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville with military rites by the Shelby County Honor Guard. Memorials may be given to the Shelby County Honor Guard.
Bob was born on August 13, 1946 in Houston, MO, the son of Mervin E. and Hattie Pauline Stockstell Longwell. He graduated from Beecher City High School and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Bob was a printer for RR Donnelley & Sons Company in Mattoon, IL for 35 years until his retirement.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer Endsley Hardimon (Tim) of Assumption, IL, Bobbi Kindermann (Robert III) of Assumption, IL and Jeff Longwell of Cowden, IL; brothers, Ernest Longwell of Pleasant Mound, IL, Jake Longwell of Litchfield, IL and Billy Longwell (Mary) of Minonk, IL; sister, Dorothy Lawson (Roy) of Litchfield, IL; and grandchildren, Brian, Hattie and Gwyneth Hardimon, Avri and Melana Gross , Liam Kindermann and Kayley, Jayna and Lauren Longwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard and Charles Longwell; and nephew, Ricky.
