Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Jim Whitaker officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the Education Fund for Mackenzie Perry and Jared Davis.
Brandy was born on July 28, 1977 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Orville “Buster” and Becky (Lumpp) Eversole. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1995. Brandy attended Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL and graduated from Richland College in Decatur, IL. She was a surgical technician, previously working for St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Brandy loved the outdoors, especially fishing and caring for her animals. She also enjoyed watching her daughter play volleyball and softball. Brandy married Ronald Lee “Ron” Davis on May 24, 2003.
She is survived by her husband, Ron; daughter, Mackenzie Elizabeth Perry of Shelbyville, IL; son, Jared Lee Davis of Shelbyville, IL; parents, Buster and Becky Eversole of Shelbyville, IL; brother, Brian Eversole of Shelbyville, IL; paternal grandmother, Ermajean Eversole of Shelbyville, IL: maternal grandfather, Eugene “Gene” Lumpp of Shelbyville, IL; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, David Eugene “Dutch” Eversole; and maternal grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Lumpp.
