Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Robert Russell officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to Dunn’s Ambulance Service in Mattoon, American Diabetes Association, or Donor’s Choice.
Brenda was born on April 29, 1956 in Shelbyville, Illinois, the daughter of Gene A. and Delores J. Shuff Lading. She graduated in 1974 from Columbus North High School in Columbus, IN. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are her father, Gene A. Lading and wife Myrtle of Pana; mother, Delores J. Adams of Shelbyville; sister, Susan Flesner and husband Lyle of Shelbyville; half-sister, Rebecca Navarro and husband Sal of Humble, TX; step-sisters, Debra Bathe of Monticello, Mona Eddy and husband Mike of Pana, Debra Middleton and husband Robert of French Lick, IN, Sandra Stapp and husband Dave of Martinsville, IN and Linda J. Fox of Columbus, IN; and step-brother, Richard David Adams of Edinburgh, IN.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Samuel R. Adams.
