Brian A Wools
(November 25, 1969 – August 24, 2014)
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Elder Jason Shults officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Shelby County Community Services to benefit the residents of Cornerstone.
Brian was born on November 25, 1969 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of Nicolaas V. and Suzanne Goldy Wools. He graduated from Windsor High School in the Class of 1990. For 22 years, he has made his home in Shelbyville where he worked at Shelby County Community Services. He loved country music, cheering for the Blackhawks, and he was always up for a game of checkers.
Brian is survived by his mother, Suzanne Wools of Forsyth, IL; sisters, Christine (Eldon) Bryan of Forsyth, IL and Jennifer Ross of Elmhurst, IL; brother, Matthew (Christina) Wools of Springfield, IL; nephews, Blake, Jacob, Jared and Dillon; nieces, Sierra and Olivia; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nick Wools; sister, Leah Ann Wools; grandparents Ernest and Johanna Wools, Josephine Mourey, and Russell Goldy.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
