Carol Luann Dilley , 63, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 8:10 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2023 in HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital, Shelbyville, IL.

A visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.  Memorials may be given to her family.

Carol was born on March 31, 1959 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Lawrence William, Jr. and Winifred Josephine (Reed) Bly.  Carol attended Shelbyville High School and was a member of the Class of 1977.  She worked for many years at Reider’s Café in Shelbyville, IL.  Carol married Dale Eugene “Gene” Dilley and he preceded her in death on January 30, 2021.

Carol is survived by her sister, Marcia Prather (Bobby) of Shelbyville, IL;  sons, Matthew Dilley (Ashley) of Mattoon, IL and Aaron Dilley of Shelbyville, IL; daughter, Michelle Dilley of Shelbyville, IL: grandchildren, Dominique Dilley, David Kerr, Justice Griffith, Jasmine Kerr, Jonah Dilley, Kadin Griffith, Aiden Dilley, Derrien Kerr, Braylen Dilley and Aubrey Dilley; and one great grandchild, Tytus Griffith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene; brothers, Larry Bly, David Bly and Daryl Bly; and sisters, Pam Carter and Debra Bly.
