Carolyn J Frederick

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
Carolyn was born on January 24, 1947 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Donald D. and Betty P. Evans Houston, Sr. She graduated from Cowden High School in the Class of 1965. She was retired from Petro Stopping Center in Effingham, IL, where she worked in the deli. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Effingham.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Frederick of Effingham; brother, Donald D. Houston, Jr. of Shelbyville; granddaughter, Katelyn Frederick of Effingham; and uncle, Junior Evans and wife Mabel of Shelbyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
