Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Gary Crowder officiating. Visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday. Memorials may be given to her family.
Catherine was born on April 25, 1938 in rural Clarksburg, IL the daughter of Walter Lee and Edna Etta Shanholtzer Severe.
She is survived by her children, Diane Musser (Rick) of Shelbyville, Linda Coffman (Paul Wright) of Findlay, Pam Dilley of Shelbyville and Tommy Lee Woolard of Centralia; brother, Virgil Severe of Shelbyville; sisters, Barbara Mahnke (Fred), Velma Dilley, Virginia Mahnke and Wanda Trimble all of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Jennifer Hall (Chad), Brent Welton (Hannah), Trent Welton (Kelisha), Bradley Coffman (Jennifer), Bryce Coffman (Heather), Kristen Shafer and Cody Welton; 23 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walter Severe, Jr. and Harvey Severe; sisters, Norma Mose, Dolly Severe and Wilma Severe; and granddaughter, Kylie Welton.
