Charles W Mulvaney

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Kevin Ray officiating. Visitation 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the Shelbyville Chapter of the FFA, Shelby County 4-H Federation or the First Christian Church of Shelbyville, IL.
Chuck was born on March 15, 1959, the son of David F. and Frances Diane Hilvety Mulvaney. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1977. He worked for Crop Production Services in Shelbyville (formerly known as Okaw Crop Care). Chuck was dedicated to his work. In 1999 he designed and helped build his home overlooking the Lake Shelbyville spillway. He was meticulous in his yard work around the house. Chuck enjoyed taking motorcycle trips with his friends in his younger days. He married Kathleen “Kathy” E. Walker on March 17, 1984.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughter, Blair Mulvaney of St. Louis, MO; father, David Mulvaney of Shelbyville, IL; sisters, Charlotte (Mitch) Spurgeon of Cuba, MO and Sara (Ron) Chance of Good Hope, IL; mother-in-law, Betty Walker of Shelbyville, IL; brother-in-law, Robert (Sue) Walker, Jr. of Decatur, IL; and special friends, Rick and Suzie Kull of Shelbyville, IL.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances; grandparents; and uncle, Tobe Hilvety.
