Clarence H Holley
(April 27, 1913 – January 18, 2011)
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2011 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Greg Breeden officiating. Visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville with military rites by the Shelby County Honor Guard. Memorials may be given to the Shelby County Honor Guard.
Mr. Holley was born on April 27, 1913 in Shelbyville, Illinois, the son of Charles Henry and Pearl Hudson Holley. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WW II. Clarence worked for the Oliver Corporation in Shelbyville and farmed until his retirement. He married Ola M. Weeks on April 27, 1935.
Surviving are his wife, Ola; sisters, Ruby Wallace and Mabel (Junior) Evans all of Shelbyville; granddaughters, Suellen (Rich) Storm and Karyn (Brad) Weakly all of Shelbyville; great grandchildren, Erin (Ben) Hein, Jason (Heather) Storm, Trevor (Jenni) Storm, TerraAnn (Tim) Downs and Natalie Storm; and five great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Shirley E. Smith; son-in-law, Lewis F. Smith; five brothers; and great granddaughter, Laura Storm.
