Clarence V Barr

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Ron Tucker officiating. Visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday in Sulphur Springs Cemetery, Loami, IL. Memorials may be given to Reservoir Manor or Shelby County Community Services, both in Shelbyville.
Clarence was born on April 29, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Vern F. and Vina L. Kinworthy Barr. He attended Shelbyville Free Methodist for 14 years and Tower Hill Christian Church for 10 years prior. For the last 14 years, Clarence had a happy home with his extended family at the Reservoir Manor in Shelbyville.
He is survived by his brother, Robert L. Barr and wife Kay of Assumption, IL; nephew, Robert D. Barr of Joplin, MO; niece, Linda Sutton of Cape Coral, FL; and nine great nieces and nephews.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents.
