Clariece S Young

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Monticello, AR. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Monticello, AR. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Red Cross or Donor’s Choice. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville.
Clariece was born on April 19, 1926 in Monticello, AR, the daughter of George and Clara Burton Sanders. She was a bookkeeper for the American Red Cross in Little Rock, AR. Clariece married William Leon Young on August 15, 1946. He died on October 18, 2004.
She is survived by her son, James Alan Young and wife Carolyn of Shelbyville, IL; daughter, Ginger Anne Pack and husband David of Palmer, AK; sister, Mickey Barbarotto of Conway, AR; three grandchildren, John Daniel Young and wife Jennifer of Sullivan, IL, Cobey Lee Pack of Palmer, AK and Erin Davis and husband B. J. of Mountain Home, AR; and four great grandchildren, Cobey Lee Pack II, Sammy Pack and Slevin Pack all of Palmer, AK and Evan Young of Sullivan, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sisters, Betty Hale and Anna Merle Melton.
