Claude E Mose, Jr.
(October 31, 1935 – April 12, 2016)
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Pastor James Ferguson and Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Gaskill Cemetery, near Strasburg, IL. Memorials may be given to the Henton Church of God.
Claude was born on October 31, 1935 in Henton, IL the son of Claude Elmer, Sr. and Cora Dell Belser Mose. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1954. Claude was a semi driver for the trucking companies of Hilton Wilson, Schneider and Waggoner. He was a member of the Henton Church of God. Claude married Beverly Rose White on May 3, 1958.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; sons, Lee Mose of Hammond, IN and Bryan Mose of Kokomo, IN; daughters, Deborah Reel of Strasburg, IL and Vicki (Lance) McGinness of Champaign, IL; brother, Richard (June) Mose of Hartwell, GA; sister, Norma Jean (Wendell) Hudson of Gold Canyon, AZ; grandchildren, Heather (Tarl) Borth, Allison Mose, Angela Mose, Stephanie (Heidi Pocrnich) Mose, Anthony (Terica Moore) Plough, Cassie (Zac) Calhoun, Geoff (Penny) McGinness and Ana McGinness; and great grandchildren, Jake Borth, Damien Borth, Payslea Borth, Sam Plough, Cyrus Calhoun, Jonah Calhoun, Logan Calhoun and George Hodges.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Larry Reel; brothers, Curtis Mose and Danny Mose; sisters, Barbara Shride and Mary Lawrence; and great grandson, Christian Mose-Blackwell.
