Cleveland O Johnson

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January, 18, 2015 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Greg Breeden officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
Cleve was born on May 20, 1941 in Newport, Arkansas, the son of James and Emma Gill Johnson. He was a U. S. Army veteran. Cleve worked for Weber Marking Systems in Arlington Heights, IL, as a commercial printer, until his retirement. He married Joyce Rempas on March 10, 1962.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; and daughter, Pamela Johnson of Shelbyville, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In addition to being a loving husband and father, Cleve was a father figure and touched many lives. He will be greatly missed.
