Clifford E. Williamson , Sr. , 76, of Shelbyville, IL, passed awa y at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Pastor John Curtis officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021 in the funeral home with Masonic Rites by Jackson Masonic Lodge #53 at 8:00 p.m. Casual attire is requested.  Burial will be in Findlay Cemetery, Findlay, IL. Memorials may be given to Shriner’s Hospital.

Clifford was born on December 13, 1944, the son of Roy and Anna Mae (Luthe) Williamson. He was a graduate of Findlay High School in the Class of 1964. He worked for GW Prosser in Shelbyville, Bodine Sewer Construction in Mt. Zion, and Beverage Construction in Bloomington, IL. Clifford was a member of Operating Engineers Local 965 in Springfield for 43 years, Jackson Masonic Lodge #53 of Shelbyville, Scottish Rite 32 nd Degree in Springfield, and Ansar Shrine in Springfield.  Clifford married Linda L. Young on February 22, 1975.

Clifford is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Clifford E. Williamson, Jr.; daughter, Nicki D. Haney of Shelbyville, IL; brother, Raymond Williamson (Marla) of Shelbyville, IL; sister, Leota Bragg of Sullivan, IL; sister-in-law, Julie Bly (Ralph) of Shelbyville, IL; four grandchildren, Zachary Jarnagin (Kelly) of Charleston, IL, Alec Jarnagin (Ashley) of Bethany, IL, and Josie and Samantha Wade of Shelbyville, IL; one great grandson, Jameson Jarnagin; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth and James Williamson; sister, Cheryl Williamson; great granddaughter, Alaina Jarnagin; brothers-in-law, James A. Young and Gerald Bragg; sister-in-law, Debbie K. Young in infancy; mother and father-in-law, James and Virginia (Smith) Young; and niece, Amy Williamson.
