Clinton R Fisher

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, with Rev. Kathy Lewis officiating. Visitation from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to the Chautauqua Restoration Fund, Shelbyville, Illinois.
Mr. Fisher was born on April 4, 1915 in Shelbyville, Illinois the son of Elmer and Ruth Smith Fisher. He married Dolores Bailey on October 18, 1940. Clint worked for many years as an automobile mechanic in Shelbyville. He was also employed as a line inspector for Oliver Corporation in Shelbyville and later as a mechanic for Lithia Springs Marina until his retirement. Clint enjoyed hunting and fishing especially in Canada and throughout the Western states. He also enjoyed driving race cars, trap shooting and in his later years especially enjoyed bench rest rifle shooting with marksmanships ability.
Surviving are his wife, Dolores; daughter, Charlet and Ron Lehnen of Monmouth, Illinois; granddaughters, Tina and Mike Huston of Roseville, Illinois and Talpha and Rick Terrana of Tampa, Florida; grandson, Trevor and Christine Lehnen of Morton, Illinois, five great granddaughters, Sierra Terrana, Ryley and Carmyn Huston, and Sydney and Katelyn Lehnen; and four great grandsons, Nicholas Terrana, Nick Huston, and Luke and Blake Lehnen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ross and Ruth Fisher, Burl and Della Fisher and Ralph and Lorna Fisher; one sister and brother-in-law, May and Lawrence Hatfield; one infant brother, Earl Fisher; and one infant great granddaughter, Hannah Lehnen.
