Connie Sue Fowler , 57, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 2:20 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2023 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL, with Rev. Jay Huddleston officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Louden City “Post Oak” Cemetery, Brownstown, IL. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.

Connie was born on March 10, 1966 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Patricia Doty. She graduated from Moweaqua High School in the Class of 1984. She married Scott M. Donald on August 13, 1989 and he preceded her in death on September 16, 2004. Connie worked at Casey’s in Shelbyville for many years. She married Terry D. Fowler in 2009. Connie was a member of Locust Grove Church and Road Riders for Jesus. She enjoyed going to garage sales, playing with her grandkids, coloring, and caring for her dogs Lilly and Sabel.

Connie is survived by her husband, Terry; daughter, Heidi Taylor and husband Adam of Shelbyville, IL; son, Josh Donald (Taylor) of Newton, IL; mother, Patricia Mahon of Decatur, IL; sisters, Brenda Foster (Jeff) of Litchfield, IL, and Mary Jo Long of St. Louis, MO; three grandchildren, Sam, Beau, and Ivy Taylor; father-in-law, Jesse Fowler of Chillicothe, IL and mother-in-law, Dolores Donald of Shelbyville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Scott; father-in-law, David Donald and grandparents, Richard and Dolly Doty.
