Connie S Walden

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Gary Crowder officiating. Visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to Shriners Hospitals for Children or First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville.
Connie was born on March 26, 1955 in Mattoon, IL the daughter of Aubrey Ross and Mary Elizabeth Shaffer Walden. She graduated from Centralia, Missouri High School. Connie enjoyed fishing, playing pool, bowling, cooking, ceramics, yard sales, watching TV, listening to Elvis Presley music and helping other people of all ages. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville.
Surviving are her mother, Mary Walden of Shelbyville; brother, Howard Ray Walden of Kansas City, MO; an aunt and uncle; lots of wonderful cousins; and many good friends since moving back from Missouri in 1987.
She was preceded in death by her father, Aubrey Walden.
