Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
Dale Jeanne was born on March 13, 1955 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of James and Frances (Cole) Mayberry. She most recently worked at Joseph’s Landing in Shelbyville, IL. She previously worked at the Shelby Motel in Shelbyville, IL, Covered Bridge Café in Cowden, IL, K-mart in Decatur, IL and Collegiate Cap and Gown in Arcola, IL. Dale Jeanne enjoyed camping at the river with her family and friends. She married Kevin Tripp on June 23, 1995.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin; daughters, Diane Bunton (Brian) of Lakewood, IL and Carrie Torres (Mark) of Fredrick, CO; son, Michael Gatton of Windsor, IL; mother, Frances Mayberry of Witt, IL; mother-in-law, Violet Tripp of Shelbyville, IL; brother, James Mayberry, Jr. of Witt, IL; special friend, Merickia Singer of Decatur, IL; seven grandchildren, Andrew Force, Derrick Knearem, Jordan Torres, Breanna Torres, Olivia Gatton, Alexa Gatton and Brittany Linn; and four great grandchildren, Landon Carlisle, Ryleigh Force, Whyett Force and Braiden Gatton.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Mayberry; and father-in-law, Paul Tripp.
