Dana Dianne Fox, 65, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 11:25 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL

A memorial service to celebrate Dana’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Pastors Mark Sanders and Dan Armstrong officiating. A luncheon will follow the memorial service. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:30 a.m. Saturday. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Shelby Christian Church or the Pregnancy Resource Center, both in Shelbyville.

Dana was born on March 18, 1954 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Russell Eugene and Betty I. (Price) McKittrick. She was the Shelby County Fair Queen in 1971 and graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1972. Dana married Stephen C. Fox on July 22, 1972. She was a homemaker and loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dana later worked at the Morgan House, Corner Drug Store, Software Solutions Inc., Mahnke Auto and retired from the Shelby County Tourism Office all in Shelbyville, IL. She was a member of Shelby Christian Church in Shelbyville, IL.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Fox; daughter, Tisha Armstrong (Dan) of Mt. Auburn, IL; son, Jason Fox (Colleena) of Shelbyville, IL; sister, Karen Gordon (Ben) of Shelbyville, IL; mother-in-law, Leta F. Bruckner of Shelbyville, IL; grandchildren, Shauna Danneberger (Craig), Stephen Seth Klauser (Mercedes), Stuart Klauser, Taylor Womble (Matthew), Megan Knearem, Madison Fox, Tyler Armstrong and Zachariah Armstrong; and great grandchildren, Isabella Klauser, Emmett Klauser, Tate Danneberger, Jessa Danneberger and Elizabeth Womble.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Jordan Fox.
