Daniel Joe Largent, 54, of Shelbyville, IL, returned to his heavenly home Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in his residence.

Private family graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2020 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville IL, with Pastor Mike Carr officiating. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to The Shepherd’s Hook, Findlay, IL, and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.

Dan was born on October 31, 1965, in Shelbyville IL, the son of Glenn and Joyce (Furr) Largent. He attended and graduated from Findlay High School in the Class of 1983. Dan enjoyed computers and technical work. He helped many people and businesses with technology for almost 40 years. Dan was affiliated with The Shepherd’s Hook Church in Findlay, IL.

Dan is survived by his wife, Michelle; sons, Chris West of Mattoon, IL, Michael (Regina) West of Blue Mound, IL, Donovan Largent of Mattoon, IL, and Kenneth Largent of Mattoon, IL; mother, Joyce Largent of Shelbyville, IL; and sister, Cindy (Richard) Oakley of Bethany, IL.

He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Largent; father, Glenn Largent; and infant brother, Richard Largent.
