Family graveside services were held in the afternoon on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Arrangements were by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Autism Speaks.
Dee Ann was born on March 13, 1946 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Gilbert Burl and Patricia Jean Knearem Taylor. She attended Pana High School and worked for the Secretary of State’s Office in Springfield, IL in the Driver’s License Department. Dee Ann enjoyed watching scary movies and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby Hinton and wife Lori of Clarksburg, IL and Brian Hinton and wife Wendy of Shelbyville, IL; sisters, Connie Roesch and husband Bill of Weslaco, TX, Mary Jane James and husband Ernie of Neoga, IL and Betty Jo Maples and husband Robert of Newton, IL; aunts, Dee Knearem of Pana, IL, Linda Cunningham of Shelbyville, IL and Sandi Anderson of Shelbyville, IL; grandchildren, Abbi Mars and husband Chris, Tarryn Shirar and husband John, Derek Hinton, Robert Hinton and fiancée Lynne, Briare Hinton, Chance Hinton, Tommy Harlow and Allison Jones; great grandchildren, Dayvin Fisher, Breein Hinton, Kyra Mars, Ethan Mars, Ian Hoyt, Tucker Hoyt, Naomi Shirar and Korbyn Hinton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents, Clark and Esther Knearem.
