A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 in the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Greg Breeden officiating. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the family.
Denise was born on August 9, 1966 in Wurzburg, Germany. She is the daughter of Richard and Rosa Liebler Mall. Denise graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1984. She worked for International Paper, CVS and Walmart, all in Shelbyville, IL. Denise attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville, IL.
She is survived by her children, Zachary Jesse Helton of Shelbyville, IL, Aurora Arielle Poulos and husband Andrew of Eau Claire, WI, and Ricci Leigh Smith, Brandy Schae Smith and Jordan William Smith all of Shelbyville, IL; half-sisters, Windy Hennings of Baton Rouge, LA and Joy Wurst and husband Todd of Thornton, CO; father, Richard Mall of Hollywood, FL; step-fathers, Harold Agney and wife Sandy of Shelbyville, IL and Andy Himes of Denver, CO; and two grandchildren, Jesse Lee Helton and Cailynn Suzanne Elam both of Shelbyville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Himes; and the love of her life and companion for 24 years, Larry R. Smith.
