(July 18, 1963 – April 4, 2021)

Don Wayne Hubbartt, 57, of Findlay, IL, passed away at 9:55 a.m. Sunday, April 4, 2021 in his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Pastor Mike Carr officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Shepherd’s Hook Church in Findlay, IL, and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 North Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.

Don was born on July 18, 1963 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Richard Wayne and Callie “Marie” Craft Hubbartt. He graduated from Findlay High School in the Class of 1981. Don worked as a Union Welder at ADM in Decatur and also worked for several different contractors, welding in power plant construction.  He was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #157 of Terra Haute, IN, and was affiliated with First Baptist Church in Shelbyville, IL and the Shepherd’s Hook Church in Findlay, IL. Don enjoyed custom welding and metal fabrication.  He married Glenda Welton on January 22, 2000.

Don is survived by his wife, Glenda; daughter, Erica Kirksey (Sean) of Shelbyville, IL; sons, Jason Hubbartt (Ashley) of Las Vegas, NV, and Maverick Welton (Brittany) of Shelbyville, IL; grandchildren, Alana & Owen McKittrick, Forrest and Violet Kirksey, Kaleigh, Maddox, and Alice Hubbartt, and one on the way, Dyson Welton; and special caregiver and friend, Lisa Hoehn.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
