Donna E Bentlage

Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Visitation from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN. Memorials may be given to Cancer Care Specialists of Central Illinois.
Donna was born on May 30, 1931 in Kokomo, IN, the daughter of E. L. and Ora O. Edwards Myers. She was a clerk at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis, IN until her retirement. Donna was a member of Shelby Christian Church in Shelbyville, IL. She married Kurt F. Bentlage in 1970. He died in 1987.
Donna was a hard worker, loved her family and was passionate about helping others. She was a bright, bright light on each life she touched.
She is survived by her son, Mark Sanders and wife Kay of Shelbyville, IL; daughter, Penny Jo Feltner and husband David of Clayton, IN; nine grandchildren, Tammie, Mike, Chris, Dana, Mark, Stephanie, Shannon, Nickie, and Melissa; 34 great grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kurt; one son, Gerry; three daughters, Pamela, Stephanie and Ramona; three brothers; one sister; two grandchildren, Keith and Angie; and one great grandson, Corey.
