Donna L. Rodman , 86, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 3:22 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2024 in her residence.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Shelby Christian Church, Shelbyville, IL, with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Shelby Christian Church. Arrangements are by Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.

Donna was born on March 14, 1937 in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Lester and Madonna (Syfert) Brown. She married Glenn Richard Rodman on October 15, 1953 and they recently celebrated 70 years of marriage. Donna attended Shelbyville High School. She began working for Sta-Rite Ginnie Lou, Inc. in Shelbyville.  Donna later worked for Crest Container Company, The Wooden Nickel and Amerilla’s Fashions all in Shelbyville.  She was a member of Shelby Christian Church, where she and her husband attended faithfully. Donna enjoyed working in her flower garden, antiquing, collecting glassware, and going to country music shows.

Donna is survived by her husband, Richard; sons, Glenn William “Bill” Rodman and wife Kim of Herrick, IL, and Jeff Rodman and wife Jackie of Lakewood, IL; daughter, Julie Navis and husband Dale of Shelbyville, IL; half-sister, Debbie Brown of Atlanta, GA; 11 grandchildren, Shane Rodman, Amber Fecter (David), Josh Linder, Derek Linder, Travis Reider (Liz), Troy Reider (Ali), Stephanie Walters, Staci Kirby (Tanner), and Justin Navis (Breezy), Bryar Rodman (Kim), and Blair Rodman; 25 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-fathers, Glenn “Fuzz” Foster and Edward Pauschert; brother, Lester Harlow Brown; sister, Judy Causey; two grandsons, Jason Navis and Tony Reider; and one great grandchild.
