Dorothy I Shuff
(November 16, 1911 – November 25, 2007)
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Lynette DeAtley and Rev. David Haney officiating. Visitation from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of service. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to Grace United Methodist Church in Westervelt, Illinois or donor’s choice.
Mrs. Shuff was born on November 16, 1911 in Westervelt, the daughter of Otis and Mabel Yost Weakly. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Westervelt, Shelbyville Kuilka Chapter of D.A.R. and a faithful member of her domino club. She married Noble Sands on January 15, 1930. He died on September 30, 1955. She married Burl Shuff on July 26, 1958.
Surviving are her husband, Burl; sons, Charles Shuff and wife Irma of Tower Hill and Robert Shuff and wife Jane of Columbus, Indiana; daughter, Winona Bolinger and husband George of Shelbyville; brother, Donald Weakly and wife Marilyn of Shelbyville; sister-in-law, Genevieve Weakly of Westervelt; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Noble; brothers, Cecil and Carl Weakly; and sisters, Evelyn Scroggins, Betty Jean Weakly and Eunice Weakly.
Dorothy was a special lady that will be missed by all.
