Dorris Ire Everett, 93, of Shelbyville, IL, formerly of St. Charles, IL and Fisk, MO, died at 1:22 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008 in Shelby Memorial Hospital, Shelbyville, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008, in White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk, Missouri with Rev. David Middleton and Dr. Bruce Owens officiating. Visitation one hour before services. Burial will be in Ash Hill Cemetery, Fisk, MO. Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church or the Lincoln Heritage Fund both in Shelbyville. Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville is in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Everett was born on January 15, 1915 in Fisk, MO, the daughter of S. H. and Leora Bayes Mayberry. She was a 56 year member of Valley View Baptist Church in St. Charles, Illinois and attended the First United Methodist Church in Shelbyville, IL. She married Charles “Bill” Everett on October 28, 1933. He died on July 3, 1999.

Surviving are her son, Grover Everett and wife Patricia of Taylorville; daughter, Vera Middleton and husband David of Shelbyville; sister, Sue Livingston of Gainesville, GA; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; infant daughter, Mary Elaine Everett; and two sisters, Christine Donahue and Alma Mayberry.
