Doyle Brown
(September 26, 1968 – November 19, 2014)
A private family graveside service will be held in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL with Brother Darrell Best officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to V.F.W. Post #4289 or Saving Orphaned Animals. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.
Doyle was born on September 26, 1968 in Decatur, IL, the son of Edward Frederick “Fritz” and Edith Lois Hammond Brown. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1986. Doyle enjoyed playing the drums and riding BMX bikes and motorcycles. He loved animals and was especially fond of his German Shepherds: Caesar, BoJack and Tara.
He is survived by his father, Fritz Brown of Shelbyville, IL; mother, Edith Hartman of Shelbyville, IL; brother, Duaine Brown of Shelbyville, IL; aunts, Donna Tull of Shelbyville, IL and Carol Calhoun of Mt. Zion, IL; cousins, Mitzie Gaddis and Robbie Calhoun; second cousins, Colton Calhoun and Alyssa Calhoun; and nieces, Willow Brown and Kagome Brown.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Edna Brown; aunt, Norma Yoder; and uncles, Keith Himes and Butch Calhoun.
