E. Marie Cutler
(February 14, 1930 – November 10, 2015)
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, November 13, at Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to a charity of donor’s choice.
Marie was born February 14, 1930 in Okaw Township of Shelby County, IL, the daughter of Rolla James and Goldie Mowry Carroll. She attended Rose Center School. Marie worked in the housekeeping department at Shelbyville Manor. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Elvis Presley. Marie married Clayson Eugene Cutler on March 28, 1953 in Taylorville, IL. He preceded her in death on November 29, 2002.
Marie is survived by her children, Jim Rueff and wife Barbara of Jasper, IN, Allen Rueff and wife Marilyn of Decatur, IL, John Rueff of Springfield, MO, Dean Cutler and wife Amy of Homer, IL, Mike Cutler of Sullivan, IL, Cheryl Wirey and husband David of Findlay, IL and Sonja Buhrmester and husband Rick of Shelbyville, IL; eleven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clayson Cutler; and daughters-in-law Marjorie and Wilma Rueff.
