Eloise Rozella Robison, 105, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Shelbyville Manor, Shelbyville, IL. 

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL with Pastor Debbie Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to noon Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the Shelbyville Manor Activity Fund. 

Eloise was born on August 18, 1919, in Lakewood, IL, the daughter of Robert Lincoln and Bessie Mary (Christy) Cutler. She attended Lakewood High School and graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1937. She began working as a switchboard operator in Lakewood. Eloise married Jack Glick Robison on March 6, 1940, in Webster Groves, MO, and he preceded her in death on October 13, 1992. After her children were raised, she worked in the kitchen at Shelbyville Schools for many years. Eloise will be remembered for the way she combined her love of cooking with her caring spirit.

Eloise is survived by her son, Gary Allen Robison of Shelbyville, IL; daughter, Jacqueline Jean “Jackie” Pierce of Shelbyville, IL; six grandchildren, Kelly Tallman (Dave), Angie Oldham, Travis Pierce (Brittany), Tyler Pierce, and Lisa Snoke (Ben) all of Shelbyville, IL and Aaron Robison (Emily) of Jacksonville, IL; seven great grandchildren, Jack Tallman (Mary) of Mt. Zion, IL, Anna Oldham of Decatur, IL, Elly Oldham, Liam Pierce, Ivy Pierce, and Judd Snoke all of Shelbyville, IL, and Lily Robison of Jacksonville, IL; and four great great grandchildren, Lane Navis of Shelbyville, IL, Catriona Tallman and Linnea Tallman both of Mt. Zion, IL; and Lucas Smith of Decatur, IL. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; stillborn son, Gloyd Lindy Robison; daughter-in-law, Suzie Robison; brothers, William, Lindy, Russell, and James Cutler; and sisters, Ruby Johnston, Opal Russell and Joan Arthur. 

The family of Eloise Robison would like to thank the staff at Shelbyville Manor for the loving care they provided.
