Evelyn A Shuck

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Assumption United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Compton and Rev. David Beerbower officiating. Visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption. Memorials may be given to the Assumption United Methodist Church or Mt. Pleasant Church of God, Assumption.
Mrs. Shuck was born on August 16, 1914 near Assumption in Shelby County, the daughter of Otto and Edah Spence Middleton. She worked at Roots Café in Assumption for 25 years. She was a member of Assumption United Methodist Church and YAH’s of Mt. Pleasant Church of God. She married James Howard Shuck on February 10, 1934 in Bearsdale. He died on December 30, 1992.
Surviving are her sons, Don Shuck and wife Rosie of Assumption and Gary Shuck and wife Rosie of Assumption; sister, Hazel Hubner of Assumption; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband.
