Evelyn R Nohren

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Rev. Lynette DeAtley officiating. Visitation from 11:00-1:00 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to the Lakewood United Methodist Church or Alzheimer’s Association.
Mrs. Nohren was born on August 25, 1920 in Dollville, Illinois, the daughter of Lester H. and Lillian M. Tilley Miller. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1938. Evelyn attended the Lakewood United Methodist Church. She married Theodore W. “Tuck” Nohren, Jr. on February 25, 1940.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore; sons, Richard L. Nohren of Pana, IL and Scott M. Nohren and wife Valerie of Avon, IN; daughter, Mary A. Glick and husband Jim of Tower Hill, IL; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lester Harold Miller; and one granddaughter, Gina Marie Nohren.
