Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 in Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Shelbyville, IL with Rev. E. Wade Helmkamp officiating. Visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Shelbyville, IL. Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL, is in charge of arrangements.
Everett was born on June 28, 1921 near Windsor, IL, the son of David Friedrich and Anna Amelia Pfeiffer Rincker. He was a grain and livestock farmer, specializing in Pure Bred Angus Cattle. Everett was a former president and sales manager of the South Central Illinois Angus Association and a member of the American Angus Association, Illinois Angus Association and Shelby County Farm Bureau. He served on and was a former president of the Shelby County Fair Board and was a former board member for St. Paul’s Schools in Strasburg, IL. Everett was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Shelbyville, IL. He married Marie Davis on November 25, 1942. She died on August 1, 2012.
He is survived by his sons, David Rincker and wife Elma of Strasburg, IL and Dennis Rincker of Hamlet, NC; daughter, Phyllis Norton and husband Bill of Tolono, IL; sisters, Joy Lenz of Strasburg, IL and Evelyn Schrock of Shelbyville, IL; sisters-in-law, Lorene Rincker of Windsor, IL and Betty Giberson of Shelbyville, IL; grandchildren, Lisa Young and husband Wes of Socorro, NM, Steve Norton and wife Kathy of Evanston, IL, Brian Rincker and wife Jamie of Strasburg, IL, Jonathan Rincker and wife Julia of Decatur, IL, Kevin Rincker and wife Ashley of Strasburg, IL, Keith Rincker and wife Amanda of Cerro Gordo, IL, Miles Rincker of Indianapolis, IN and Chantelle Stroder and husband Jason of O’Fallon, IL; nine great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie; brothers, Carl and Gaylord Rincker; sister, Davida Edwards; and brothers-in-law, Erwin Lenz, Edwin Schrock and Lynn Edwards.
