Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, IL with Rev. Brownie Tohill officiating. Visitation from 9:30-10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Yale, IL. Memorials may be given to the Midwest Care Center, 2050 Claire Court, Glenview, IL60025 or PLOWS Council on Aging, 7808 College Dr., Suite 5E, Palos Heights, IL 60463.
Fay was born on November 3, 1911 in Yale, Illinois, the daughter of William Dennis and Hulda Tabitha (Adkinson) Snearly. She married Harry Arden Tohill on August 3, 1940. He died on September 29, 1996.
Surviving are her son, Arden Tohill, Jr. and wife Mary of Canal Fulton, OH; daughter, Arlene Rubin and husband Robert of Riverwoods, IL; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arden; brothers, Harold and David Fudge; and sister, Drucie (Fudge) Newsom.
