Gary E Williams

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville with The Rev. Timothy J. Hallett officiating. Visitation one hour before services.
Gary was born to Robert E. Williams and Mary Williams on February 15, 1956 in Shelby County, Illinois. Gary was the owner of the Jackson St. Styling Salon in downtown Belleville before moving to Key West, Florida as the owner of The Chelsea House and Red Rooster Inn. After retiring, Gary shared his time between Florida, Cape Cod and Vermont.
He pursued his lifelong passion for equestrian activities, riding and taking care of his beloved horse, Conrad.
He is survived by his partner of 34 years, James Durbin; step-mother, Betty Williams of Shelbyville; brother, Lynn Williams of Shelbyville; and sisters, Brenda Elder of Shelbyville and Julie Phillips of Neoga.
He was preceded in death by his father; mother; and infant brother, David Williams.
